Road Rally Scavenger Hunt Fund Raiser Sept 10th Register Sept 2nd

There’s a United Way Fund Raiser Rally being held that looks to be fun. Mark Saturday, September 10 on your calendar and come participate with friends and family in the 3rd Annual Alberta Justice & Solicitor General Road Rally and Scavenger Hunt!
What’s it all about?
Competing in teams of 4, there will be three main activities for you to complete The entry fee of $25/person includes $5 towards a light supper at the end of the event. The remainder of the pot will be split 50/50 between the winning team and the United Way Tools for Schools campaign.

Things to Find
You may find them in your closet or under your bed. You may find them in your Aunt Sophie’s attic or under your neighbor’s back porch.
One thing is certain … they will be unusual and a challenge to find!

Places to Go
Are we there yet? Well, that all depends on your ability to follow a series of pictorial clues on a map. Once you arrive, you’ll be rewarded with the next set of clues … and so on.
And with bonus points to be earned along the way, you’ll definitely need four sets of eyes! Whether you’re the designated driver, riding shotgun or just a backseat driver with a stake in the game, we promise you’ll have loads of fun!

Pictures to Take
A little different this year …with each leg of the race you’ll be given a number of 4×6 pictures that represent Photo Ops along the way.
To earn the points, you’ll need to find the exact location in the picture and snap a pic of a teammate standing in for the Photo Op!
All you need is a good eye, a digital camera, and your cheeriest smile!

How do you get in on the fun?
Approach your friends, adult family members or co-workers to make up a team of 4. Reserve Saturday, September 10(10:30AM – 7:30PM) on your calendar. The event will start and end at the High Run Club (4926 – 98 Avenue). A light supper will be provided following check-in at 5:30PM, with the winning team announced by 7:30 PM. This year we’ll have volunteers at each location to score your answers from the previous leg – so the scoring process should be much faster.
Complete and forward the registration form (along with the $25/person entry fee) to Debbi Piech (Solicitor General, IT Branch, 9th Floor, Brownlee Building) or Charity Piech (Solicitor General, Edmonton Young Offender Branch)
