“Tractor Fun Day at Phil’s”
Sunday, September 5th.
The weather turned out to be really nice. Bit cool but plenty of sun to keep us warm. Good turnout and I think everyone had a good time. Lots of gas burned in the old Allis Chalmers, John Deere and Case and Massey Harris. Amazing how chugging along at a walking pace can put a smile on one’s face. Not your typical Sports Car event but a fun one non the less.
The BBQ went over well with baked taters and pasta salad supplied and there were enough deserts for most sweet tooths. People came and went throughout the day which was good and Frank says he and Howard even got some measurements done on the J4. Some sports cars even got taken out on runs along with the tractors so all in all a fine event. Thanks to Phil and daughter Sandi and husband Jamie for putting on this fun day.
