Baptiste Lake run held at Keith Wilson’s place on the Lake, took place this past weekend. The day started in the rain but by the time we got to St. Albert the sun was out and we were able to drop tops and head off. First stop was Weslock’s Tractor Museum which had a good slection of 50’s and 60’s tractors. The lunch at the Westlock Inn before heading off to Baptiste lake.

The Cottage...
Tours of the lake by boat and pontoon craft, a fine meal of pulled pork and pulled Venison with salads and desert went down well. Thanks everyone for all that input. The fire was ready for when people got back from the evening tour of the lake and jokes, chat and the warmth of the fire wrapped up the evening. Those staying in Athabasca headed off a bit before midnight, it was still light out and those staying behind went into the hot tub till par boiled and pruney. The morning started with a dip in the hot tub and then Lorraine whipped up some pancakes and sausages and we all dug into a fine brunch. Some drifted off to the city later on in the morning and then a few hung in there till afternoon. Partially becuase I was out helping move a shower and a boat lift. Cottage life is so relaxing… Thanks Keith and Lorraine another wonderful time.
