Edmonton Mini Club run in the River Valley

May 14th, 2009

Darren from the Edmonton Mini Club has contacted Frank and myself about a run that he has planned for Saturday May 23rd at 10AM at the Government House Park. It sounds like it will be a fun run, and I might try and make it out to snap some photos. They would like to see some classic Mini’s out as they seem to only have newer BMW Mini’s coming at the moment. For more information check out their forum post here

Spring is here!

April 21st, 2009

Spring is definitely here because our first Ice Cream Run is this Wednesday 7:00PM at the Royal Alberta Museum.

This weekend is The Crossing Run and Powerama Motoring Expo.  We have somewhere from a dozen to two dozen people going to the Saskatchewan Crossing which should be a fun drive.  We have four members (including myself) with cars going into Powerama and a few others that will be attending to help us out.

Thanks!

Odds & Ends

April 14th, 2009

I just want to remind everyone that the website is still a work in progress (as are many of our cars). If you have any suggestions regarding the website please let me know. The probability of the website being fully finished before Powerama is highly unlikely… I do have a short list of stuff to be done and will deal with it as I can… With Powerama coming up on April 24th to 26th I have a list of stuff to do for that too. One of the items includes getting the engine back into the Fiat and running. Thank you Scott for coming over and getting a brake drum off!

I’m also interested in getting additional pictures for the banner. Each hour the banner switches between one of five different images. It is currently capped at that but I am hoping that I can change it so that it is one of at least twenty to thirty images every refresh!

Also, there is the general meeting tomorrow evening 7:30PM at the Victoria Soccer Club. Hope to see you there!

Welcome to the Edmonton Classic Sports Car Club website!
